So far the Silvey family has not started any family Christmas traditions... until now :) Inspired by our dear friends, the Nigburs, we started a Christmas Kick Off, the first Sunday in December we had a fantastic meal, we decorated the house, played Christmas music, had hot coco, and the boys opened a present.
We got them a personalized ornament and matching PJs. Went with moose PJs (because mommy is in love with the Christmas woodsy look) and baseball ornaments (because daddy love baseball).
Chad cooked us an AMAZING meal. Beef Wellington. I love it when he cooks because he goes all out. Its a special treat. He also got a bottle of Erath, which went perfect with the meal and taste delicious.
Lukas and Levi hung out and watched us cook and helped decorate. Lukas loves reading his books while laying on the floor by the shelf. He was VERY excited to read by the Christmas tree and Christmas lights. Levi sat in his highchair and soaked it all in. Of course i had to put the "baby's first Christmas" hat on him.
